Dont complain about how these chapters are fillers, if you actually take the time to think about it instead of making stupid accusations and insinuations, you’ll find out that these “filler” chapters are parts of when the MC is supposedly having his beliefs shaken about how the society is supposed to be run, the MC is an optimist but these realists side characters or villains are changing the way of how the MC thinks to effect future plots, most likely.

Dont read it If all you do is complain?

The Emperor used to distain the MC's mother, but after seeing the way that she acted towards her husbands disappearance, he kinda fell for her personality and started having positive feelings about her, unlike the other wives/concubines of the Emperors son (Technically could be called the Crown Prince in this case) who were just vying for power.

Not gonna lie, this is a great translated novel. Everything's great, and the buildup of the story and the character are fantastic, the only thing that sucks though is how the Original author ended the story, it kinda dissatisfies me how quickly he rushed the ending like that without giving any further things like an afterword or something, it's really frustrating.

To be honest, this novel is pretty interesting since it diverts Into a different kind of novel thats not completely generic, besides the whole main plot about the MC having to continously do good deeds to people with “Coloured” Halos in order to increase/make his Karma/Luck better.
