hmm, not sure how to say this, but it becomes better or less of a thing later on. After chapter 13 he doesn't really do much of the flirting stuff and completely cuts it out by the end of the first volume.

There are but it classifies as a more advanced tier of magic which Lake hasn't taken the time to properly research yet. If his spellcasting skill was higher he could just skip the detailed research process of having to create an advanced low tier spell and just cast it as a Mid tier spell, which would greatly reduce the workload of creating the spell, but requires a higher level of control of mana to cast it as a trade off.

To put it simply without too much spoilers, neither did she see him on a job, nor is she his disciple. What you take from that, is up to you.

let me clarify, she meant in terms of simple movement and control of the body without any mana or mystical arts, Lake surpasses the Shadow Lord. However, if the Shadow Lord were to use his own unique supernatural skill that comes from just bring at that level, then Lake wouldn't be able to match up. So your right in assuming that they surpass that level of human once they reach that level. Gwen was only referring in terms of if they were to be put on even terms, Lake would surpass the Shadow Lord.

The Ambush Fangs are rank one creatures and are the one that give 10 RP each. The Lizardmen who are Rank Two give 100 RP each.

long range in this case is fine, so long as it's a low number of enemies like one or two, he can kill them from a range before rushing up and grabbing the fate. if the number increases he'll naturally switch over to melee.

sorry about that, the early chapters were written really badly due to a lack of proper thought and preparation on my end. if you read on past chapter 30 or so, the flirting basically stops and isn't showcased much after chapter 12.

If you can't remember awakening, refer back to chapter 27 titled awakening. It was a concept briefly explained back then where, rarely, some people's body goes through a mutation under mana, either changing something, or bringing out something that was already there but hidden. It was this concept that Lake used to hide his King's Aura origin from his sister and Evelyn back when he used it for the first time.

Am I? My bad, I didn't realize. The webnovel price thing was a bit confusing. I've been writing longer chapters now because there was a lot of things I wanted to include in the newer chapters. Not sure if it would continue in the future but I'll try to keep it under 2000 words in the future cause I think that's the requirement for it to cost two free pass. No guarantee however, if I feel that a chapter is going to need more words otherwise it would feel incomplete, I will probably end up writing over the 2000 words counter.

Hi, Author here with a shameless 5 star review despite my story saying otherwise. The purpose of this is to clarify some things about this novel and its story to the viewers. First, this book is not meant to be some amazing story with unique plot development or anything truly extraordinary. If that was what you are looking for, then this isn't for you. This isn't to say that I plan to write a copy and paste story with repeated clichés all over the place, but I won't go into this novel expecting an amazing story with plot developments and story arcs that have never been done before. This novel was always something I started writing to fill up my free time and also finally act on my passion for writing which brings me to my next point. This is the first novel I have ever written. The quality is not going to be amazing and honestly, I am already extremely happy with the support I have gotten for this book so far as it was completely unexpected to me. Now, to clarify the biggest doubts about the story, this is NOT A HAREM!! Personally, I love harems... when they are done well that is. Unfortunately, I neither have the skill nor confidence to say I can write a good harem story with interesting characters and epic character growth and development between the MC and the female leads. The MC will interact with various women throughout the story but the story will not progress into a harem. If that was what you were looking for, this is not the novel for you. Also, you may see some negative reviews and comments about the early chapters of my book and I am ashamed to admit that most of those reviews were true. However, after I finished the first volume, I went back and took the time to make corrections to the earlier chapters, making Lake appear less like a creep and the reaction between characters feel more realistic. Although I can’t say it completely fixed all of the problems with the early chapters as I was still deeply inexperienced when writing them, it helped to deal with the major ones. These changes did not affect the overall story in anyway so if your someone who has read ahead already, there is no need to go back and read these chapters. Finally, like I said before, this is my first novel, so any feedback or flaws you may have spotted in my novel, whether they be grammatical errors or your personal opinion on the story is always appreciated. These things help to progress my writing skills and allow me to gain a completely new perspective on how to approach writing a story arc or chapter which all helps to improve the quality of my work.
