I am unsure about the 80's but starting nine the 90's it is more like American encouraged it's kids to be stupid. I know I was there.

I am not going to give this a bad review per say but the MC is way to OP. going from no one to big hollywood director I less then 50 chapters. so not really my cup of tea. Still not a horrible read.

this whole chapter feels forced to add drama. poor and quickly done.
