The sword is a decent weapon against unarmored humans with the same reach as you, probably the worst choice against a huge monster, even a mace would be better since blunt force can shake their internal organs and do damage.

But humans are the strongest, we have strong social skills and strong brains. We dominate through building societies and tools.

It was most used cause it was cheap and easy to use by anybody. Halberds were the best on and off horseback, you can stab and slash and were way more durable. If I had a to pick a weapon to use as a modern person I’d choose a shield and light spear. Horseback armored knights used halberds but they had training.

Its a great book, happy this is getting translated again. The mc is not your ususual hot headed idiot but a realistically smart mc trying to obtain advantages over superiors. The side characters are good and dont feel like cardboards. Definitely one of the best novels on here.

Yeah it is when its literally the first words the author wrote for his novel and still got it wrong, just shows his incompetency.

This story is all over the place and the writing quality is low, impossible to get immersed in. Its basically explanations galore and him grinding pills, tool refining and talismans. Anything interesting is just glossed over for more info dumps. Characters are just there and the mc is ur usual cultivation mc. The whole video game thing is also too far fetched and forced.

Nice author, maybe your story would be more popular if the first sentence in the novel wasnt in bad grammar. I would have left if somebody hadnt recommended me this.

Those characters dont even act like real people, author just writing brainless antagonists for the mc to kill later. Im out, idk how this got in top 20 when the quality is so poor.

If I saw him I would tell him I thought this was demon system not emo system

He starts off too strong and with too much and theres the fact he can go back to his old world which adds nothing to the story. It reminds me of legendary mechanic and mages are too op mised together but its not as good as either. This would have been way better if he had to make his own vampire clan but he starts off with 200 vamps under him from chap 1, the interesting things are just skipped over cuz author not skilled enough.

Dissapointed he can go back.

Mc reincarnates into a villager npc in a RTS age of empires kind of game, they can be upgraded and the enemies abide by the same rules. The lord collect resources and buys stuff from a system. Its estremely gamey and original. I like it so far but its not for everyone.
