given how heavily your leaning to ice mabye replace an arm with a crystalline ice one and have it buff magic aswell as giving him the ability to gain some kind of steed a behemoth of some sort mabye there's also his path in the nightosphere which could give him more demonic and restrictive abilities debuffs and mabye a soul devouring ability probably for health boosts (I hate when souls boost stats) that being said the soul thing could also after future evolution fuel other things like how soul gems do in skyrim

Echo Knight- Clones that maintain users power but have body's that are very weak Illusion focused mage is always fun some sort of wandering sword class like a ronin some sort of brawler class based on how he delt with ratmen some sort of trap/Trickster class based on his current strategy of setting traps
