Let me tell you something that intrigues me: The mind is a creative entity, it thinks up new realities. It creates an ordered universe that it can understand. It interprets the world through its own filters, ignoring what it doesn’t understand. Thus, it is an active participant in the construction of its own prison. It is a psychological version of the infinite monkey theorem. If one looks hard enough, one will find an explanation for anything. There is no reason to wait for a deeper understanding, one can always create one’s own little world in which to play. To summarize: the mind requires something substantial, some kind of truth, to organize itself. The human mind is a hierarchy of concepts, ideas, theories, and beliefs, all designed to make sense of and give meaning to an existence that is ultimately absurd and meaningless. It is a hallmark of human intelligence to see patterns where there are none, to make sense of a chaotic world. I’m no smart guy and don’t pretend to know all the semantics of my words, but I intend for them to make sense. To those that can understand them.
Everything that can be perceived about the material world is merely an illusion. We are simply a collection of atoms that are connected by a complex set of chemical bonds. Everything that we consider to be “magical” is really a natural process that the human brain has decided is worth paying attention to. And yes, there is, in fact, no such thing as good or bad. Morality is a set of beliefs that humans have invented to give their societies a sense of order. It attempts to dictate what we should and should not do, based on an assortment of religious and philosophical beliefs. In reality, there is no objective moral truth. For any given set of moral beliefs, there exists a contradictory set of moral beliefs that is equally valid.
LOL Proves my age even more? Can you elaborate? The fact that you assess a person’s character and draw your own conclusion solely by their manner of speech and the way they interact with you speaks volumes of how puerile your mentality is. You frothing trolls are so predictable; you’ll subsequently resort to logical fallacies such as ad hominems and red herrings, which at this point, expecting a sophisticated lingual converse is a foolish thing to do, so I’ll cease our conversation so that I may not inflate your ego.
More suitable for young people? Since we're talking purely opinion, I disagree. Strongly disagree. Disagree to the point where I'd like to ask your opinion on a number of different matters, since I'm just about certain that you and I will disagree on such a level where anything you love I will hate, and anything you hate I will love. I want your opinion because I know that you have to have the worst possible opinions in any given circumstance, and I wish to use you as an inverse meter of quality. You are like a shit-barometer
that's basically the point of what I just said.
My, that escalated quickly! I apologize for my seemingly rude attitude, but I merely peregrinated here in this thread, simply to notify you, that no one cares, and that you will subsequently receive all the attention you need with this pathetic display of a protest about how this novel didn’t meet your preferential standards. And I couldn’t care less whether to opt for ignorance or not. The most cogent and pithy commentary is frequently dismissed when its author appears less than fully literate. I hope my big nose didn’t bruise your thin skin. Adieu!~
I didn't. Can you point out the very comment that says I did?
No one asked, and your attitude alone implies that you're craving for attention, so there you have it.
War of the Worlds reference
So, they're egalitarians?
unlimited and infinite cannot be in the same sentence.
Nice!
Yeah, what happened?
Do you even know what gender diversity means? Or are you just trolling?
