So it was probably the Realm of Mysteries concealment power of Klein that hid the area from the officials
not only that, it will also be pretty helpful that their soul fragments are within Lumian - when Klein tries to resurrect them, he could use those fragments to perform it (?)
So I googled Eternal Love... It was actually a TV Drama in China adapted from a Xianxia novel.
I hope we get to see them again. I especially liked them all and enjoyed seeing another friendly Seer in action that is not Klein.
Just like in LotM, Lumian would probably be going in a revenge arc. His targets would most likely be the other survivors - and most likely padre Guillame Benet as the main target. It will be interesting how impactful the payoff would be on this one. And if it will hit as hard as the payoff when Klein off-ed Ince Zangwill.
As a sequel to LotM, Circle of Inevitability will have big shoes to fill to live up to how good the previous book is. Since we will now be going away from Klein as the protagonist, it will also be interesting to see how Lumian, CoI's protagonist will live up to his predecessor. After finishing Volume 1, I would say that Cuttlefish still has the secret sauce. With numerous twists and turns, the finale of Vol 1 - Nightmare gave an interesting introduction to Lumian and what his motivations are moving forward. The first volume showed the difference between Klein and Lumian as characters and their inherent motivations. It will be interesting how Cuttlefish plans to develop Lumian further and how he plans to incorporate LotM's supporting characters in the story. As of right now, my most favorite parts of the book is seeing how our beloved characters from LotM has grown since the end of the book. Anyways, if anyone is reading this review, I have just finished Volume 1 and would whole-heartedly recommend a read of this book if you enjoyed LotM. Cuttlefish did also mention before that he wanted this book to be readable even though you didn't read any of LotM. Although that might be the case, I don't know how enjoyable this book will be. There were alot of info-dumps at early chapters to allow this to happen - these helped refresh LotM readers on the world but also explained to new readers on these info. I think this consideration is an inherent drawback of being a sequel book. Anyways, that's all for my review of Circle of Inevitability. I hope that future volumes will be as good if not better than in LotM. Praise be to Mr Fool!
Maybe Upper World is the Astral World/Cosmos? If Fors is already an Angel, then having her have creatures from beyond as messengers should be acceptable. Or maybe it's already possible even if she's current just a Wanderer.
Fors now has her own messenger đđđ
It's like how Klein went to Backlund to hunt Lavenus and Ince Zangwill. Lumian would now go to Trier for the other "survivors" of this incident.
*probably
He's gonna join the Curly Haired Baboon Society đ€Ł
Not only that, I also think that Aurore being a transmigrator would probably help when trying to resurrect her. Since Sefirah Castle probably has some prior records of her during the cocoon days.
Praise be to Mr Fool!!!
Should be possible since the soul fragments of Cordu is within Lumian. Klein could take the bodies of the villagers in the historical projection and *revive* them using the soul fragment... Actually, out of all the villagers, I am most optimistic on Aurore being revived since she is a transmigrator and sefirah castle might have some prior records on her.
