Definitely one of the best Pokémon fanfic I have read. It’s slow but it’s well written and has lots of world building. From chapters 1-300 it was really good, although I liked the timeskip, I didn’t like how there were random side characters being added every few chapters with barely any context. From about 300-600, it got incredibly monotonous. It was essential meet with friends and family, train, research, and repeat. I could probably summarize the entire plot of 300 chapters in one chapter with how long they are. While the current chapters of 600+ are starting to get more interesting and the plot is starting to pick up. If I had to say a con, it would probably be how rather than a story it’s more of a diary. In the sense that theres little emotion in the writing, with the writing narrating the MC actions and not showing much personal development. For example, during the time skip he meets a bunch of people and becomes friends with them, but theres barely anything about why he became friends with them other then their initial meeting, then all of sudden they all come to his birthday parties and various other events. I don’t know if it’s just me, but everything just seems way too distant. Like if they were to all die in a Pokémon tide I would honestly not even remember their names 10 chapters later; however I would probably be more upset if one of his thousand of magicarp died. But other than that, everything else is good 👍

This fic is really good, probably one of the best Genshin fanfics I’ve read. Although there isn’t much action, it makes up for it with humor and character development. I hope that this isn’t dropped and you keep up the good work

It’s a good idea, which I’ve seen multiple times on this website. However, it’s definitely one of the more poorly written ones. There’s barely any character development. It’s supposed to be a villain system, but he technically hasn’t done anything villainous. Sure he changes the plot and messes around with Issei, but he’s basically a better version of Riser who’s an actual villain. Nothing villainous about beating up an ignorant perv or exposing Rias of being two faced. He’s basically just doing exactly what Issei does in the original. Things just seem so forced and I had to turn my brain off for almost all 100 chapters before I made this review. Tbh I think the author of this book just ripped off another author with this exact same concept but changed a few things, since I had some major déjà vu for the first 30 or so chapters. Definitely don’t recommend unless you just want to waste time.

He’s immortal but not all powerful. Him announcing his power is literally telling everyone not to kill him and instead the only way to deal with him is to immobilize him. I get that this is a fic, but it still gave me an ick when I read this chapter. Made is seem less “realistic” per se.

It’s pretty mid, not too bad not too good. I think it’s pretty stupid that in the beginning chapters he has all sorts of cooldowns (2 months or 4-5 months etc.) but then ends up taking a whole year before summoning again. I get you don’t want the Mc to not be overpowered, but you shouldn’t nerf him by simply having him forgetting to use his main ability. I do enjoy the summoning though, it’s unique in a way, but there’s lots of missed potential with his item summoning. So far the only worthwhile ‘item’ he’s summoned is flames, and rest is all girls.

The quality of writing is decent and the updating is also consistent. However, my problem with the fic is mainly the development. For having such short chapters, the pacing feels really off when the Mc is constantly meeting different characters every chapter. First it’s Yuuma, then Akeno in the next, Rias, Sona, etc. All of this happens in relatively little time. Definitely recommend slowing down and developing the main character itself before continuing the story. Then again it is fanfic and you can do whatever you want, but if you want a better story then slow it down and include more details. Overall, it has potential but needs work.

Honestly surprised by how much I liked this. I thought it would become some smut filled fic, with zero plot. However, it’s turned out to become really put together, especially the fight scenes. Only complaint I have is the number of chapters. Need more.

Other than the updating speed, everything else was pretty bad. For example the progression of the story was way to fast. In one chapter he became friends with kakashi and guy and next thing you know he’s passing out breathing styles and the Marines 6 styles to them. Like wtf. I understand he’s trying to make friends or something, but it just feels so forced and naive.

This was honestly a disappointment for a system novel. At first the novel started out decent, but later in the novel he finds out he’s some sort of system slave from his future self and then goes to a celestial world. Like literally the entire plot from 1-300 became redundant once he went to the celestial world. It also turns out that the systems rewards weren’t even randomized, but because he received knowledge from his future self he already knows what he’s going to get. As for the main character, he’s a 10/10 simp. If a girl asks for his help he always says yes without having any plan, and he somehow still survives because of his “randomized” rewards that literally suit the situation every time. Don’t even get me started on how he always screams about getting revenge for his past self, but ends up accidentally killing a bunch of random ass people. Save yourself the trouble, don’t read it. If you wanna just waste your time, read up until he goes to the celestial world and drop it.

Honestly, I really like the premise and story. The quality is also really good. However, I feel like the plot of the actual story is so slow. There are 40 chapters and we still aren’t past week one. Also homelander is way too overpowered, he has no resistance to magic and other stuff. Like it’s Marvel, there’s legit hundreds of beings that can destroy the planet and homelander is kinda mid-tier, yet he’s some sort of final boss that isnt regulated by anyone in the entire world. Other than that the novel is pretty good.

Honestly, I like the plot and the characters. The grammar on the other hand is atrocious. Many words are jumbled up with Chinese and the format is also terrible. If only they proofread it and translated it better, then it would have been a good read.

Honestly I quite enjoyed it during the beginning. However, when random children started popping up and also random lovers with no background started showing up, the story got very confusing. Especially during the Akame ga kill arc, which honestly could’ve been ended so much faster and simpler. I don’t know why the author decided to add so much unnecessary stuff like dream children, time travel, and all the side stories. In my opinion, you don’t even have to add anything, just erase some of the unnecessary content and the story would’ve progressed so much clearer. On the flip side, quality of writing was good and was clear to understand. Story is also very interesting and unique. Definitely a good sense of humor, although repetitive. I also think that the author had a good grasp on the originality of each character.

It was decent in the beginning. Drops off a cliff after like 10-20 chapters. His cheat is barely used and he is still weak asf. Translation quality also is garbage, there are different terms I keep seeing that mean the same thing. Like can you please be consistent and not make it confusing.

The story was going pretty well in the beginning and I liked the concept of the system and the powers, but honestly the Mc is incredibly annoying. He basically sets up future problems for himself by making Yun Che his enemy and starts giving away op powers to people without much of a relationship. Everything seems so forced and at a certain point the Mc gets way too confident that it’s sickening. Like his relationships with every girl in the story is so cringe. There’s only any real character development with the Mc and it’s very small. Every girls personality is a run down version of ATG and having no depth. I will say that the writing quality was quite standard and easy to read, but there was definitely a lack of detail and originality that could have made this story a lot better.
