Does anyone know the raws to this?? 1980 china, this story doesnt give you an understanding of that era, you have to research it to understand this background story. There are confusing sentences that gets you questioning but overall its a good story.. good luck.

Upon this realization, Xu Xiuxiu didn't know whether to feel relieved or sad. Relieved by Yuanhuan's gentlemanliness and yet saddened by her own lack of allure. As a married couple, to lie on the same bed without any spark of passion was utterly disheartening.

These were all acts of kindness that Xiuxiu had taken to heart. Not to mention, since Song Yuanhuan was her brother-in-law, it was only reasonable for her to help out with some money at such a critical time.
