How did this novel got a high review? I've read up until chapter70 and I think that's more than enough to write a proper review. Pros: Good premise- the series seems to be heavily influenced by "long live summons" from the grimoire to cards, but it's not a bad thing since the author made his/her own twist to atleast differentiate the novel from LLS. Stable updates- mostly daily updates which is good. Cons: oh boy, here we go Grammar- it's readable but there are some parts where you will have to sacrifice a few brain cells, there's also the problem of using words inappropriately(?) which interrupts the flow of story. Finally there is also the occasional spelling mistakes which is an eyesore. Execution- the author failed hard in this part, as I said the story has a good premise but it felt like the author knows what he wants to do but at the same time doesn't really know what he's doing. The story jumps from one point to another without any proper reasons, it just happens to keep the story going. Characters- the MC probably has some mental issues, nah screw that, he has some mental issues. Side characters are decent but because of the weird flow of the story it feels like they only exist for the sake of existing, know what I mean? Mob characters are your typical chinese novel mobs, they're just there to get some face slaps World building- fantasy meets modern world which is one of my favorite genre to be honest, but since the author doesn't have a clear grasp in what he wants it becomes meh. One instance they're talking about cards and grimoire and the next thing, there's a friggin alien who wants to conquer the world who cames from who knows where. Really? An alien out of the blue? Summary: the story has great potential, and as I've said I only read up to chapter70 so the author might've improved after that, but for me I'll temporarily stop here.
Well there are different slimes you know? Just because 2 rocks looks the same doesn't mean that they are, same with the slimes. Rimuru for example have no core
It was explained in chapter 3 or 4 why, the reason was because his soul and body was to weak even with the restrictions so the skill was change to a lower form. Once he gets strong enough then the skill will evolve/upgrade to it's original restricted form.
Ah I get it...what you mean is that I should assign a rank for each stat depending on their growth? Like FGO?
It might work when it comes to monsters statuses since they evolve at certain caps, but not for the Mc or other "sentient races" since they don't have a cap(yet). Danmachi manage to use both letters and numbers since their leveling speed is very slow, even Bell took a month to level up from 1 to 2, if I use the same formula while the stories mc levels up 10 or so per chapter then it would become a hassle to keep up with it.
Do you play TAC as well?Hehehe...RKE4VHNN add me if you want~~~
Well that was his first time seeing a monster after all, I think anyone who see a monster for the first time would focus more on the existence of that creature itself rather than it's physical appearance especially the small details.
The one he got was more of a pole with a pointed tip rather than a spear, though I think that still qualifies as a spear, but later on I will use Ara's spear(Elsword) as reference.
I haven't edited everything yet, i think? I first used letters on the status board but it was actually difficult to make small changes using letters so I decided to use numbers instead. Though they're just as troublesome as letters.
