let me list down what i love about this novel1. the ml was introduced not as an invincible ceo, but one who is experiencing the lowest point of his life2. the fl may be a prodigy, but she also experienced her downfall3. the ml was not depicted as a genius in business, in fact, he admits he is not as good as his wife or his mother4. both leads worked together to climb their way up once again, not everything was given to them in a silver platter right fron the startnot done reading yet, but so far this is interesting

dropped at 94.. almost a hundred chapters of reading and i got sick with the never ending chase. pacing is toooo slooww and so far the cycle for the 1st hundred chapters is the same.. got bored..

i feel like gong zeli is the most pitiful character, though rather sincere.. i really wish the author gave him a happy ending. i was touched by the last scene.. sob sob

if you are looking for a romance novel, skip this one.. thi is almost zero romance.. the leads never kissed, never dated properly.. they are just like 2 friends protecting each other, like partners in crime.. they are no way acting as lovers.. this is more on action novel, and the ending is rushed..

this is a great story, i love how the ml loves the fl, sacrificing everything despite the fl hating him.. after rebirth, i love how the ml gradually feels loved and how he feels every tiny bit of joy everytine the fl does or says something to prove she loves hin this tine. great from start to end.

started out great, then the retaliations began to ho overboard.. punishments for the enemies are worse than what they deserved.. innocents and converts were hurt.. well, i had been warned that the main characters are evil.. overall i love the story and the writing quality.. i was not sad though when they died, there were times when i actually wanted them to die or at least see some regrets or remorse in them.. in other words, i was not attached to the main characters..

with the way i was hooked with this novel, i can say that it is so underrated.. synopsis itself got my interest, and the whole story development always left me wanting for more..thank you author, kudos to you...

halfway through the novel, but already enjoying it.. the first meeting was so romantic for me, the first few days in the castle was so sweet.. calling her 'love' and treating her like she is so special is extremely sweet for me.. and fl's innocence is to my liking.. author, you never failed to amaze me.. this is your first novel i read after the LDG series, and im looking forward to read more of your books..thank you.
