I started reading this book long ago and I was instantly pulled into it. The characters seemed really lifelike and pretty relatable. The thing I love the most about this book is that it depicts the psychological aspect of murder, loosing ones close to you like no other book, hands down no other book comes close. For some reason I saw a lot of edgy teenagers complain about this, saying that the mc should just get over murder in one chapter, and I look at these coments and think- how stupid are they? no lord of the mysteries or shadow slaves can compare in this aspect of the book, I love it so much. Moving on, the book indeed might not be for everyone, as it does have A LOT of tragedy, with plottwists that NOONE can call, it's crazy. Again, a lot of people complain because of this, but I believe that the author is writing revolutionary work that can't be compared to others. To sum things up, the world building is good, writing quality is always amazing, it never fails to pull you into the story. The characters are amazingly written and the psychology aspect of this book is incomparable. if you are thinking about reading it, but feel discouraged by the negativity about this book, I suggest you give it a try, even if you hate deep insights about life and incredible plottwists :D. [I have read up to 400 chaps, now I'm just stacking em]. oh, and the power system is interesting and original too.

seriously this is just written like a cliche chinese novel and it is so bad. Why make everyone braindead? bad writing
