The reason people hate it is because it completely unnecessary. Let say the mc is kind and want the protagonist to progress. Going that route, often time have the reader wondering who the mc. The guy chilling in the background, watching all the time or the dude training, improving himself and facing the villains. It simple diminish the writer Mc to a side character level. Some writer do it and it end out find. Others totally mess up the story focus.

Now just imagine. They can share quirk...... All for One: ...... All Might: ...... All eight users of OFA: .....

It being good in rescue mission doesn't mean she is meant to be an hero or even work in an hero agency. She can work in the government and participate in things like that. If she can't protect herself, she is useless. A liability that no sensible person want. Some may argue that she could learn martial art for self defense but compare to some villain, she might as well be quirkless. At the end of the day, she a slightly better train human light bulb. His father seem to focus a lot more of battle than rescue.

Dumbledore is more incompetent than evil. A competent Dumbledore would have probably control Hogwarts better. There probably wouldn't have been two dark lord if the man did things differently. Im not sure about Grindelward, but Voldemort could have been avoided.

The entire premise is good and interesting but the character and chapter is getting on my nerve. At this moment, when it come to severus trauma, it seem that the logical side, Vader is failing pitifully to lower it. It between a complete irrational dark side rage or a full blown restraint. Maybe i wrong, but the minute black and potter attack, the mc should be decisive enough to knock them out. If he can't control himself, he should have train in that than what he been doing in the previous chapters. Doesnt Occulumency help? The Lily situation is annoying to me personally and i wish the MC would just move on. Around her, he being restraint or too mindful of her. It feel like he is going to overlap padma and lily together and stop him from doing something logical. He is not Dark Vader but he is not a goodie two shoe. The relationship between the two woild just be toxic. Now for the chapters. I know each chapter can't have important stuff in it for story progression, but something can be finished in two or three lines. I feel like the pass four chapter before the duel could have been put into one. I apologized, i feel like I'm ranting and it probably best to ignore it, but im just saying what i feel. The book is good with just a few annoying points to me.

Rather than have her crush, it would have been better if he just didnt bother with her. Severus already apologize and she didnt accept it. The new Severus should as he already said before, call it a day and ignore her. Make the both of them go on with their life. It might be less toxic that way.

I honestly hope he doesn't compromise too much just because the suppose protector of earth are so easily manipulated.
