In canon, Rimuru doesn’t have a gender, although he is a man because of his previous life Eating Shizue indeed gave him a body, but it was still genderless It was even mentioned in canon on how he morphed his appearance one time to see how he would look like if he was a man and a woman in his current slime body

To use your True Magic, the MC needs magic circuits persay as it needs a way to circulate the energy from True Magic If the circuits/whatever the mc is using are sealed, then the mc cannot use magical energy in general, including True Magic as there is no way to have an input nor output of the infinite possibilities within the Kaleidoscope
Alright, chapter over, some real talk now. It seems like we need a discussion on 'True Magic'. I'll explain my thoughts about what I wrote before, considering there is very little actually available on how Magic operates, I've made up stuff as I went along. Now, my reasons and thoughts from before. When Scathach sealed the Mc she sealed his 'magical energy', not his 'Magic' as so many people were seemingly intent on saying. True Magic is a type of 'Mystery', a power coming from the Root. Magical energy is a means to realize the mystery, basically a spark to start a fire. I know some people were vehemently against the idea that True Magic requires the utilization of Magical energy, and frankly, we don't know one way or the other, but if it didn't require magical energy, then couldn't mundane people theoretically realize the Mystery? There are billions of humans on the planet, has none ever touched upon the mystery if it didn't require a certain valuable commodity only possessed by a very small portion of the people?
