My rating may not be very biased since I adore this story but since I loved it and have been reading both original novels and fanfic for a long time, if this story is not a 10/10 it is definitely not less than a 9/10. Give it the opportunity and it will bring you new experiences even though it parts from the essence of the original. coming to feel unique in your own way

By placing themselves in a posture they can circulate ki so that one posture makes them stronger, another faster, lighter, harder, more flexible, etc. Normal warriors can master about 3 fighting postures and the best can combine several that allow them to flow in a combat in an eratic and different way, changing according to need. The protagonist could learn that combat style.
