When there are an infinite amount of multiverses, it means there is an infinite amount of lives. Unless someone is enough powerful to destroy an infinite amount of universes, the lives are just trivial numbers expected to be eliminated.

I bet there are multiple beings in DC that destroy much more souls than the MC. For example, I bet Trigon is not called the devourer for not reason at all. So, destroying just tens of thousands of souls does not look like something actually meaningful to the Omniverse as a whole. I mean, are we really respecting the "law that says energy cannot be destroyed nor created, but more in the concept of souls"? On the other hand, the MC has potential, a lot of potential. He has perfect memory and a good amount of intelligence. With time he can grow and become really powerful. I wonder if the MC was able to choose other essences instead of Vegapunk. I can think of a bunch of characters with higher potential and raw power than Vegapunk.

Assuming the Demoness was the person that sent the attack to village, then such revenge will be a little bit "sweet." However, what if she did not send it? I mean, I would not say that she could be unaware. But, she may not be the person that sent it.
