lol, no, they just haven't been rolled out to you yet. If you look at the app reviews on the Play Store, people have been slowly getting them since December. I only saw them a couple weeks ago. Absolute BS. I'm doing my daily log-ins, using fast passes, and occasionally reading online with an AdBlocker. I know the approximate conversion of what authors make for the coins we spend, I know their contracts lock a lot of them in for a very long time, I'm not going to support that any longer. Anyone who doesn't respect others speaking with their wallets, I have to assume is one of the paid bots that Webnovel has everywhere.

Sorry for adding irrelevant info to your comment, but wasn't sure how else to make sure you see this. Just curious if you ever have plans to publish physical books or change platforms? Webnovel has begun implementing ads in every chapter of every book for those using their app, and I will be limiting my use of Webnovel until then, or potentially leaving altogether. But, I love your books and would still really like to support you and read them if possible. I hope this bad decision by Webnovel doesn't affect you too much, I'm sure there are other platforms out there that have more respect for authors and readers alike. Hopefully I'll find you again on a platform that will have more of the money I pay going directly to the authors. Lmk if you see this, and good luck!

It's something that has been lost in translation. If the original names were kept instead of being translated into Western names, it would make sense.

Curious if it's been updated since you posted this ~ 1 year ago. According to the novel's contents, it only has 800-some chapters and was last updated 6 months ago. Makes me nervous to start reading if it's just another book that's been abandoned...

They're using the full names because it's a translation. It wouldn't be so weird if they didn't Westernize the names. Webnovel thinks using Western names appeals to readers, but more often than not, it just makes it odd to read, and makes it difficult to understand the cultural implications of the story.

I'm getting a bit concerned because the start of this sounds really familiar. It wouldn't be the first time Webnovel has posted the same exact book but with a different title and character names... Will add to this if I find the other novel someday.
