Okay, I read about 10 chapters, and that's really bad and I'll tell you why. The writing lacks emotion, Izuku is constantly defeated in this story and my reaction is: ok, when will the cool part come? Everything is a bit robotic, the monologues and internal dialogues are boring and superficial. The writing is bad, with a lack of punctuation and no "" in the dialogue, I can only guess what a line is or isn't and who it belongs to. There are a lot of flashabcaks that don't interest me. The characters are evil for no apparent reason, like, All Might didn't have a quirk so he would never neglect someone without a quirk, I would even accept him being an absent father, you know? Inko too, in the beginning it was clear that she loved and cared for Izuku and then she just neglected him for no apparent reason? I know that a villain needs a tragic past but you need to know how to do that. Unless someone says that some kind of invisibility quirk was cast on Izuku, I wouldn't believe any kind of explanation. Anyway, I don't want to be an idiot, I'm just doing an honest review of what I found and raising points that can be improved in the future, I didn't get very far in this fanfic so I don't know if the writing has improved or anything, but if it has, the author should review the beginning of the story.
Ah, I thought it had something to do with the scar, but it didn't make sense because the scar was healed. It was really very subtle. Actually, I think I already said this, but I really like the moments where we can see Shoto's thought process during psychological treatment.
What caught my attention in MHA was the quirks, the concept of a society where everyone has super powers, laws and regulations imposed on these powers. That's why, even though I no longer follow the anime, I continue reading fanfics about mha, it's a world with many ideas to explore that doesn't seem to have been well used. Oh, and also, it reminds me of Charlotte...
