the writing quality and the world background are exceptional for this book. The MC comes across as a hopeless retard and personally for me it just doesn't make sense. He has experience s of two lives and yet for some reason he acts like a child. He has experienced brutality and severe loss and yet it had zero impact on his personality or his outlook. He is just unable to understand the severity of the situation and nor is he too op. Only thing the MC has going for him with his limited intellectual capability is Plot Armour.

wouldn't it make sense to explain that he is the last of his kind that he knows of?

Even though he has experience s of two lifetimes why does he behave like a child? while I do like the language and the pace of the novel the character of the MC is just so disappointing and leaves much to be desired. He was a gang member who was shouldering the responsibility for his family so where does the carefree attitude come from? He saw his family and friends being slaughter we so again where does this carefree attitude come from?

does Mr stupid not realise that his master also may have killed many of his brothers and sisters and consider getting more Intel to understand the reasoning if the war and levels of participation?

and yet he still acts like an idiot with no goals and commitment. his previous memory should have ensured that he wouldn't be this Gullible. So far the mc is learning skills from human but based on his character he doesn't Reay have the ability to take revenge as a demon.

I like the story but it's so hard for me to have any respect for the mc
