my only suggestion is maybe tone down the phrases( not like this this, not like that, but like this. I personally don't mind AI if its edited correctly and those types of sentences aren't bad, but I think it kicks me out of the immersion I feel when I read like when your watching a movie and its has to buffer or if your my age the dvd has a scratch and it skips. other than that Im enjoying the premise of this novel. its not somthing I've come across before so keep up the good work!

Just googled this. its actually not that bad the inventor gets 25 to 50% personally the lab he works gets 20 to 40% and the university gets the rest so the university would get as little as 10 percent it mainly that way because most scientific patents can not be commercially profitable but all things considered he wouldn't have to pay for lawers or go through anything like that he'd just rake in money while his lab would be funded for anything he wanted and the school gets a cut simply for the money put into making it. depending his personal shares its not a terrible decision but it does hinder his earnings. he should have just filed the patent in his name and used to money the fund his own think tank and hired the guys to research whatever they wanted
