Couldn't even get through the first few pages of the first chapter with all the ambiguous racial and classist overtones about being kidnapped as soon as he stepped into a poor area. Stating to do magical experiment on the poor and handicapped by feeding them magical plants to see what happens, also people who were poor and in need of food but not handicapped or old/children wanting food being illegals. Wow to the wow, story might have a good basis but I cannot get past this and if this the first chapter how deep will this go? Reads like a person who has never has to struggle for anything or born with a silver spoon. The point of any story is to engage the reader. This story does a poor job of it.

okay no shame in killing the innocent but hesitates and doubts when it comes to the guilty. what a splendid being.

So mr t kills or let people die because they are not noble birth but goes out of his way to save people he has heard about? what a noble character he has? he is no different then any other sycophant sucking up to people that don't give two shits about him.

The story is exactly what the authour/protagonist was killed over. Cliched and boring. It would have been better if it ended after the first chapter. It would have been infinitely better then the slough-fest that is this premise which could have been so much better with a little effort. Then their is the prologue WTH is with that 13 year old writing? Could have gone with a damaged character that is going through trauma with nightmares and that's why the authour does not like those kind of stories, but nope. If I could give zero stars it would be too many.
