Well, it also makes it worth reading... Though I'm expecting a massive change in MC in the future.

Nothing much to say here. The story development is really good but slow meaning it'll be a long book. The characters are also well developed and I like the author's way of giving hints of the future development. The only con I can see is the poor translation and writing quality.

Though I'm a bit biased about the novel rating because nothing is perfect but it goes a long way to show my appreciation for this masterpiece. Honestly, I hardly saw something I was not contented with. The mystery itself is so addictive and intriguing. Finally, author-san you're really good.

"I am a Prodigy" is a good novel overall. The translation quality is superb. Kudos to the translation team. The character development is pretty clear. Well as for the world setting, I think there is an assumption that the reader are aware of the ongoings in China and it's subsequent myths, legends and history. The story development is good so far.
