you already mentioned in an earlier paragraph that javik has a damaged Omni tool from extensive cryo sleep so he cant't translate with it
By the way, the omni tool served as a translator too, but Javik had a damaged one thanks to not using it for thousands of years. That's why Samael used that old method of transferring the knowledge to the alien, as he knew beforehand what would happen. this is an interesting start to a novel, I quite like the philosophical musings in the beginning of a man who know they should be dead but find they are very much alive. I also applaud the author on the idea of having him lose his "shnoz" when he got out of his crypt since the absence of a nose can symbolize both that he is now an imperfect being while at the same time undergoing a drastic transformation with no hope of changing back. (and that is my overly serious analysis of a crack fic as a joke.)

oh I remember watching Slugterra, I watched that whole show and loved it! I'd certainly be interested in a fanfic like that.
By the way, I had the idea of writing a fanfic of Douluo with Martial Souls that would allow the creation and use of slugs from Slugterra, but then I remembered that the world of Douluo is very linear and I don't think readers would like something that doesn't involve the main characters.
