I think it will be more interesting when the MC finally just shrugs off the pressure and lives day by day. I understand why he's so tense, but the the most interesting moments of this story are his goofy, whimsical interactions with other characters, and the tension is very few and far in-between. I just hide the story doesn't become just another constant fighting and conflict like every other xianxia. less conflict, more sweeping
