could have just condensed the last few paragraphs into "im scared and unarmed so I hide" in fact what's the point of this scene at all? you cant have a scene where he acts cowardly and try to explain that he, in fact, is not a coward. like bro, keep coping do you think cowards THINK they are cowards? no, they tell themselves they are being rational and all sorts of excuses. im not saying if I were in the MC shoes I would jump in and risk everything, but Im not going to act like a clown and say it not cowardly either
