First of all: Thanks so much for leaving a review! I'm glad you've been enjoying the story so far :D It seems you're a little bit earlier on in the story at this point, judging from your question. The answer to it is... quite complex. It's the dreaded: "It depends." Would he ever kill an innocent person for his selfish gain? Absolutely, but only under specific circumstances - those being that: 1) He judges it to be necessary (for example, to overcome a certain hurdle in a specific amount of time, he'd need to kill more, and there are only innocents available); 2) The losses he incurs from doing so are far less than what he gains (for example, he'll lose some of his reputation in exchange for an absolutely cracked Talent that he doesn't want to live without); 3) Etc. (There are too many scenarios that could potentially occur, but I think you get the point by now - he's very much open to the idea.) Arguably, some of the stuff he'd do (and actively is working towards) could be seen as even worse than taking the lives of innocents (although it's very much a matter of perspective here xD) - I'm specifically referring to the end of Chapter 68 and the beginning of Chapter 69, and his future plans for some of the Hans... Anyway, enough of my rambling. He most definitely is evil, although not comically so. To put it simply, I'd say that he is rather neutral, but leaning strongly to the side of evil.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! More chapters, as always, are on the way~ o7
I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Thanks a lot for stopping by~! ^ v ^
Thanks a lot for the review! I'm glad to hear that you've been liked everything so far :D ... I have a feeling this picture will haunt me from now on... Because there'll never be enough chapters for you to ravenously devour xD (Unless you invent a time machine already.)
... maybe I should go into a little bit more detail about just *how* horrible the Hans really are, as just leaving it primarily up to the imagination clearly isn't enough to get enough of the full picture across. But believe me when I say this: Any somewhat kind person in her position would feel duty-bound to eradicate them all from existence. They're made to be beyond comically evil - of course, there is a reason for it... which I shan't spoil. If being a 'Heavenly Dao-certified' Retainer did not make her unable to betray him, then you'd be correct - he'd have to watch his back. Anyway, excuse my rambling! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you've been enjoying the story so far :D
And thank you for stopping by~! :D
Considering that I'm releasing 5 chapters/week, the chapters will stack up soon - so I'll be looking forward to your binge-reading in a couple of weeks or months~ o7 WFS is like my firstborn child. I won't just give it up for adoption, dw xD
While I haven't had them myself, I'm still drooling over them...
Thank you so much for your support! o7 It truly, genuinely, means a lot! And dw, I understand. After all, I'm broke, too xD It'll definitely take a month or two until I've pre-written enough chapters over on THEA to give myself a bit of buffer time to write WFS chapters on the side again. But I can promise you that I will not drop it! After all, I truly love this story. If I hadn't been forced by life to try to seek out a more profitable path, I'd be writing WFS chapters 10 hours/day! :D My rambling aside, I hope you have a wonderful day and will enjoy THEA as well~! Stay safe o/
Basically these, but made from barely flour.
