That seems weird to me that no one wanted an abundant, free food. Plus 99% of the time pine nuts are used as a part of a dish and not just eaten on their own. (Although they are good on their own as a snack.)

Why does the guy on the cover have three hands? His right hand is holding a sword behind his head, his left hand is holding the girl, while his other right hand is also holding the girl up, and it seems to be growing out of his hip or groin area. Is this explained in the story or was it just a cool picture to use as a book cover?

It's my book, so of course it's 5-stars. I'm not a "You dare" or "You're courting death" every other chapter writer. I prefer to have slow ride with world building instead of the "you made me feel bad, now I'm going to murder the tens-of-thousands of people in your clan" type of writer. I think I have a good idea for a story and will try to put it to paper like how I see it in my brain. Hope you like it.

"It looks awfully like" is the normal way to use that phrase.
"I've never seen it before but it awfully looks like it is described. The Sheng Huo ghost was something we told little kids about to scare them into sleeping early.
