Stay away from this nonsense. It has a similar setting to those sign in novels where MC signs in, grows stronger, enemy comes, he beats, rinse and repeat. Just one of those power fantasy novels, and there's nothing wrong with that. Granted it's amongst the worse of the sign in novels I've read. Translation quality is absolutely awful and inconsistent, but still readable. Frankly I find a lot of those highly rated original novels and fanfictions in webnovel to be a lot more of a pain to read. Yet they still are very popular with people praising its grammar and English, god knows why. I digress, the reason why I've stressed to stay away from this novel is that starting at chapter 245, the story completely changes. I've seen some reviews warning of this before reading and thought it couldn't be that bad, boy was I wrong. It's as if you're reading a completely new novel that has no relevance to the older chapters at all. Only similarity is the MC's name. MC's personality seems different, all the other characters from the previous chapters are gone, it's a completely new world. The translation also got worse. So stay clear of this novel. I think it could be a somewhat fun and brainless read up till chapter 244 if that's your thing, but from then onwards it's just a completely new story that's just worse. I don't think there even was a "signing in" plot device anymore, though I could be wrong on that, may appear further on. So yeah, heed my warning. I can't stress enough that it's a completely new novel from chapter 245 onwards. I don't know if it returns back to the original story, but the way it was all handled is enough to convince me to stop reading.

Eh guess I'm going to stop here for now. I know the MC isn't a nice guy or anything, but I just can't stand rape. And don't deny it, this is rape. She said stop, begged for it even, but he didn't. She was literally being raped to death. Sure the MC may improve later and all that, but here and now MC is a scum. Hard to continue with this type of MC.

Huh am I reading too much into this? No one seems to mentioned it so that may be the case. But eons to come? This must be word play right? Or is it hinting at something? We are talking billions of years here if it's literal...hmm...

Was excited when I first started reading. Overlord was a great novel, but the MC was too emotionless for my liking, no morals whatsoever. Thought I finally found something that works with a MC that had some morals. I was wrong. To give warning to new readers, the MC is much like a psychopath. It's a bit weird, as Ainz in the original novel at least has the excuse of being a different race in where his emotions and morals are being supressed. No such excuse here, which makes it even worse. While he isn't human, there was no indication that his emotions and morals was affected. The MC was just a normal guy in the modern day, if not a bit introverted. Suddenly he has no qualm in torture, and it's rather meaningless too. It came out of nowhere. While it was hinted that the MC is introverted and a bit of an outcast, that doesn't nearly suggest his lack of any moral intergrity. The author tries to develop the MC emotions, but it only just seems fake to me. All I see is a MC that meaningless torture people. Not to mention that he messes with people's memories that again is rather meaningless, even to those seemingly close to him. It only made it more jarring since the author attempts at trying to emotionally build him and his actions itself clashes and doesn't really make any sense. So would I recommend reading this? I'd say no. Might as well read the original, as we've got the same type of MC why not just read the original better one? With that said if you're looking for a fanfiction where the MC seems to take a slightly different route then the original, and you have no issues with this type of MC, it may be to your liking.
