so does that mean if humans rank up enough they will get closer to becoming a celestial?
earlier in the novel he did say he didn't care what people thought about him, and I didn't say he can't use his teleport bead but using as he has been is stupid, its and epic item with limited charges and if used correctly it can be very strong, using it to travel small distances is a bit of a waste, Imo long distance travel, escaping, and transporting items over long distances would be a few of the options that could be used to get more value out of the teleports. my whole point originally was that he is currently using the marksman class wrong, it might be exciting when Issac is trading blows sniper vs sword but imo if a sniper let's a enemy get into melee range they have already made huge mistake, I know its bound to happen sometimes but Issac fights melee as much as he does at range if not more, while he does have his flintlock pistol there was other classes that could wield guns in close range better than the marksman, while I know everything cant be perfect and Issac can't have all the fights exactly how he would want them I would like to see some fights where Issac is fighting like a marksman.
he could have not got goaded into the fight with the knight, he doesn't need to care what the community thinks about him or his class, knight vs marksman is a terrible match up, and a arena is not a great place for a marksman, in his last fight the mistake he made was using the teleport bead, it's the second time he has used it and gotten in trouble, he doesn't know where the teleport is going to take him and it has the potential to just drop him in front of an enemy, with his higher stats he could have just ran the entire way, he might have lost a few hours from the travel but it would have given him the advantage of knowing his surroundings, the marksman class is best played at a distance, its melee potential is probably close to the lowest of all classes, and Issac is a solo player, he has a lot of disadvantages and he needs to stack the fights in his favor instead of going into most of them blind and having uphill fights,
I think I watch a documentary about him but it was a long time ago so I can't be sure, but even if their is historical relevance it doesn't change the fact that the white death skill isn't very synergistic with a marksman, it definitely helps but in most of the situations Issac has needed to use it was because he went into a fight unprepared or got ambushed. Also for me the light novels about mmo's have always had a problem with killing the tension, dying in a game dosen't really have much repercussions, adding a skill that makes Issac unkillable for a limited amount of time further removes the tension, lastly I really feel like Issac either isn't trying as hard or is getting careless and getting into fights he should have avoided or been the one doing the ambushing, I know Issac isn't perfect but I really don't want to see this novel start using his white death skill that frequently, his fight on the giant centipede was a great fight because he could die and used his skill to overcome it, since he got his white death passive that hasn't really happened.
if it did the same thing as the fountain I wonder if that apple could help luna?
honestly I kinda hope Issac does die and looses the white death, its starting to be used too much and at this point Issac is basically relying on it, it was more interesting when Issac had to survive using his own skill instead of just focus and become unkillable. the white death skill isn't even that great for marksman tbh, it would be much stronger on any melee class, a marksman would be alot better with some type of long range detection ability, a stealth/camouflage ability, or a skill to silence/remove muzzle flare of his next shot, a safety net that stops Issac from dying really kills a lot of the suspense.
I don't remember any specific reason, I think it's a combination of him visiting his grandparents and the updates, Issac also has never really focused on leveling that hard, for a short period at the start he tried to level but he got sidetracked by adventures pretty easily and unlike some other players who can play as long as they want to, Issac does have some things in the real world he has to log out for.
I liked this novel a lot more when the only thing special about the Aiden was his Arch bloodline, it made him unique enough and with the luck of finding Zirani he had a path to get strong, the addition of a second bloodline really feels like too much, especially when Zirani (who was at the 7th level) is awed by the power his bloodline contains, his new bloodline can fight against ki easily it would seem since Aiden could just throw is bloodlines energy without technique at the lost king(queen) and come out equal, kinda makes me think his bloodlines energy is stronger than ki, the hag calling it divine basically confirms it, is his aunt not actually part of the family or was it the in laws that have the divine bloodline. it is possible for a main character to become too special, imo the addition of the divine bloodline has made Aiden start to feel like that.
while his sect could protect him, some people in his sect might get jealous or want his secrets, also even with his sects protection it's still possible his sect could draw enough attention from it to have multiple other sects ally against them.
if plot armor didn't exist there would be no mc, all the mc's would die.
I do think the whole fight was stupid, Issac agreed the the fight because he felt pressured to, he though that by turning the fight down it was just putting another nail in the coffin for the marksman class and admitting he is weaker, an arena style match is already a bad style for a Marksman, the marksman class is like a ranged assassin and performs best when there target is unaware of the danger, fighting a competent knight is basically a counter for a marksman. my overall opinion is that Issac got goaded into a uphill fight he wasn't ready or prepared for, against a fighter he had little info on and he would have lost if not for his mythical skill, Issac is supposed to be a very smart person who multiple times has said he dosen't care what others think so him getting pressured into a uphill fight seems a little forced.
