Well, he clearly has theories about training, etc, we saw it before... that's how he trained in the orphanage. But your idea that this random dud from our world would come up with some godly martial arts and an AI-like optimized hyper-training regiment by simply being quite informed really shows the delusions of some people here, if that was possible we would have millions of godly martial arts.
The only combat training Rui had done in the past three years was basic kickboxing practice. For punching and jabbing he would put himself through standard boxing training from Earth; Bag work, slip bad, pad work etc. These were common boxing training exercises. Of course, he didn't have actual equipment, he had to be a little clever and resourceful. He'd used rice bags in place bag equipment, cloth wrapped think planks of wood nailed to trees etc. But he did this only so that he could familiar himself with the sensation of striking. This reminds me of a quote. I don't really remember it, but it was something along lines of: 'Rulers guard their duties as much as they guard their privileges because they know that giving away your duties is the same as giving away your privileges'. (The language used was, of course, way cooler than that, but I just don't remember it.)
I would delegate the duties and responsibilities I didn't want to those around me. Especially those I knew wouldn't squander those responsibilities. The question now was, who could I trust?
