Love the new novel so far! I was a bit scared with the revenge story setup as it‘s not really my type of story, but it seems even though our MC is set on revenge and enacting justice he‘s still a good boy at heart. The only criticism I have so far is that some parts could use a little more proof reading, the only thing taking me out of the flow are those obvious mistakes like ‚johnny bee‘ instead of ‚honey bee‘.
I‘m not one to comment normally, but I have just have to put some praise here! With all the shit going on the world currently, this novel is a true source of joy for me every day. It‘s so wholesome and I just love this novel and all its characters so much. Great work!
Honestly this is the first time I find one of these ‚all girls like the MC‘ tropes actually engaging. It‘s infuriating at times how Emery acts, but I think thats what makes it good in a way. He‘s honestly trying to face them while slowly gaining emotional maturity himself. I‘m rooting for Klea in every way, though I have to admit Silva is best girl for me. I just think Klea is a much better partner for Emery. I‘m really curious about whats going to happen, good job author.
Hey! Nice to see the book end like this, I enjoyed the read and was here nearly from the start. If I had one thing to complain about, it would be editing/proofread of the chapters. There were many typos and mistakes along the way and I think that doesn‘t really do your imagination justice - the content would shine a lot more if the cover would be brighter aswell. Thanks for the journey!
My favorite work I‘ve found on webnovel so far! To give a quick overview what I consider this novels main qualities: Slow development focussing on fleshing out the world and its characters. You can actually find a lot of depths in the setting and characters and it made me think outside of the novel aswell. Fighting scenes are actually scenes, not multiple chapter power charging descriptions. There is action and fighting on a pretty regular basis, every few chapters something like that will happen normally. These scenes are on point - Describing things in detail, but not excessively so to enlarge the word count. I really prefer this style since it makes fights exiting instead of multiple chapter dragfests. A... different way of the OP MC clichee. There is real struggle about his powers, sometimes they don‘t come into play at all and most importantly you certainly believe him that he just wants to farm in peace. I love the take. Lastly: The writing. Easily the most captivating writing style I‘ve found on here, once I started I couldn‘t stop. If there‘d be one novel I‘d have to tell someone to read on here, it would be this one.
I‘m in 50 chapters and I‘m in love with this novel. If I‘d have something to complain about so far, it is the author apologizing in the creator notes for all the good he does. In my mind, the strength of this novel is it‘s world and it‘s vivid characters aswell as the lovely writing. There is a lot of lore and background thought that shines through even early on, packed with neatly written characters and easily one of the top 3 writing styles and editing I‘ve seen on here. The pace is somewhat slow, but that in my mind is what is needed to bring out the beauty of this style of storytelling. It‘s a bit slower than what most novels here do, but intricate and never boring. Everyone not after quick once a chapter faceslap satisfaction, but solid story telling should find their home here.
