None of this makes sense..the pointless reveal the mercenary revealing who he was and why he was sent. The classic villain dialogue about how the hero had been duped. The plot armour present to protect Elijah and his unwillingness to negotiate. It doesn’t matter if he attacked a safe if he has the power to break in and out. The most logical option would be to negotiate when the merc had offered to come to an agreement. Somehow no guards also followed him only to turn up again when he’a critically injuries. Also didn’t he have a personal bodyguard. So many plot holes and just a bad chap in general.
