He’s basically saying that he won’t gain a lot Qi since he’s in high enough flow to properly and digested, but just being around it will solve reaction time so fighting is a very bad idea since you won’t be able to react as fast as you normally would
You as a disciple of my teachings can consume this petal without gaining greatly as it is still far too advanced for your body.
