siblings are often like this too.
not necessarily, it could entirely just be the muscles in the face contorting after death
for many people, birthdays are supposed to be a time of joy. there's only three ways to think about it 'another day, oh well', "Ah shet, one year closer to death" and "Woohoo, one year older." most people tend to go with the last one as it's saddening
this is most often the reality of the situation. a person holds so much hate for someone (often without good reason) that they refuse to let go because they don't know what to do with that hate. plus if some family does choose him it basically says 'yeah, somebody actually wanted the person you have been equating to less than a tool'. or if that family sends him back because they can't handle mute people, she'd just have another problem to deal with, so why not just make him stay until he's legally required to leave and never come back
you're face is cringey
just children? only in recent years has it become more and more unacceptable to ostracize anyone 'different' in the "adult world."
that's fair but if one has no friends or family, no one you can truly trust and confide in and rely on, how is one supposed to stave off the madness. the most alone tend to be the most insane.
mate, it's very early on in the book and it's a huge world, you're not gonna get all the answers and explanations lined up neatly and immediately after an event happens, there's going to be a lot of reading between the lines. And you need to check yourself. yes I thought these questions but it's not like I'm impatient for an answer that we'll probably get in due time. also where was my headcanon? I've only reiterated the already given information, not given any of my guesses (which are different from headcanons, people are using that word too loosely now). We've seen others remove the cores and we've been told that Jonam is different and he's centuries old, it'd only be common sense to assume they have some sort of back up plan to get the core out of a dangerous situation after all that time. as for how and why he got a new body, the author will probably explain later on seeing how important homunculi seem to be for some.
ahhh i love Gal-Enshu (Imma call him Gale) he's such a sweety
if anything, your fathomless one kidnapped the wayfarer and not the other way around despite the disparity in powers and abilities.
AHHHHHHHHHH
the common people don't know the true purpose of the ceremony, they just think dude gotta die for their happiness and safety.
hey, at least us common folk won't die the moment we step foot in the world (the whole Chernobyl and Corruption bit are enough but imagine having read the book). though I admit, objectively speaking having to deal with your body attempting to off you *constantly*, yeah thatd be horrible though you have a bit of a choice usually.
Mmmmmm????
either kaboom or the two souls get extinguished and replaced
id be more than suspicious of this mate
i mean it's a mildly fair assumption but I'd certainly be planning on them chasing after me forever if I was in his position
