Question here to the author : Gravis used Samsara on himself and the opposer knew he would enter his perception at some point in time. Orthar watched Gravis to some extent at least, how come Orthar didn’t know Gravis would enter his perception at some point in time ? And if to enter a POV you have to get physical proximity to the person Orthar was near Gravis before he entered the gate do Death and when they were talking about the Brand (even drank coffee)

Then why didn’t he understand freedom ?

I see them as modern cities but without cars as most people are cultivators and wouldn’t need them also the beasts are quite a bit stronger than real life counterparts so I must assume that there would breeds of horses rivaling the speed of cars and trains all in all medieval times with modern life architecture and amenities
