The story was going really well till the 2 year time jump and it just destroyed the momentum of the story and the suspense, I enjoyed up to there, but after that I couldn't do it, it's a completely different character now.

Divine beings on a power trip, this is the second devil thats become an evil spirit though we've seen, i wonder what happened to this one to force it to do that. I have a feeling that pretty soon ely is going to come to see the humans aren't as nice as she is wanting to see them as.

So the devil fell in love with a priest. the priest had a child and realized she fell in love with a devil and asked to be killed for it cause of her faith in the church, I'd say thats plenty of reason to be mad at the church and want to destroy it. He dragged his daughter into it though by possessing her which is is new found regret. Which still wouldn't have happened without the churchs extreme view towards the devil race, I still think the Evil spirit was in the right for his revenge still, and his daughter might have been vowing for it also if she was indoctrinated by the church to hate herself, but we don't know anything about her to tell if that happened.

I didnt say anything about saving humanity? the issue was her transformation came about by her own ignorance, and despite remembering still what her freinds should mean to her. she still chose to treat them like slaves, and they went along with it. the author tried to spin it like it was their fault but it wasn't. it was how that developed that left it really sour.

honestly at that point any character and emotnal development in the novel so far just got tossed and you are reading like it was a new main character

spoliers I didnt see anything about anyone betraying her, just her turning all the humans into slaves with her new form and drove away her Chiha and Chizuru, then took her new form cause of her own selfishness causing her to despair. then all of the sudden their minds warped. I didn't read further than that, after she turned cause of that nonsense and glancing over what future chapters had to offer, I couldn't stand to read it anymore.

Was really exciting and looked forward to it first, however the author introduced a sh*tty ml and main love interest so dropped it, everything else was really well done though.
