That was long! It must have taken such a long time to write... I really appreciated the witch's backstory, showing the other side of her character. Hope you can continue writing! Grammarwise, there are some faults here and there at the beginning of the chapter but did not affect much. Thanks for the chapter!
Finally! A name!
In fact, the author made use of the geography of China to design the Gu World. Northern plains for the Mongolian plateau, with barbaric characteristics. Eastern Sea as Japan and neighbouring islands. Southern border as the South Asia countries, full of jungle and to the west, the Western Gobi desert that stretches for miles. Of course, Central continent is China. I am always amazed at how much thought was put into this novel. This is why I allow myself to think of the Gu world as that part of the world...
Frankly, I would rate it a solid 3 for the moment but this is compared to other books of this type(My house of horrors) but still incomparably good compared to others I have found that focus too much on the gore stuff...
Hi there author! I just want to say that I appreciate your work till now. It was a pretty good start but I would like to remark that letting David and Ben assist the most crucial part of the ceremony and successfully interupting it is a bit of an inconsistency in the story... The atmosphere build-up could also be extended a little more to highlight the horror or shock-factor of the scenes. Thankfully, I enjoyed reading the near-perfect grammar and will remember the band of memorable characters. Good potential and I look forward to next chapters.
