They are different characters, and Eckert is being built differently compared to Noah as the goal will be to create a somewhat naive character that learns to be ruthless and cunning. Plot developments like the death of his parents or anything that follows are already outlined and simply being put to paper, with the focus always remaining on making an overly OP, ruthless main character through the [Idle Gaming System] as he relentlessly advances forward. If the style isn't to your liking or using a certain plot device somehow ruins the whole experience for you- that's ok! There are many wonderful works on Webnovel to explore and enjoy for that reason.
