The majority of people not being stupid but actually using a valid argument like "I want to do magic because our world doesn't have magic" is rare. Dragon's Dogma has a great Magic Archer built that combines the two. We'll let's hope for our MC that this world doesn't have magic that completely invalidates archers like "protection from arrows", "wind wall" or "wall of force".

Wow that's... Really low? With how big of a power gap exsists between a demi-god and a god only getting a single extra mark seems garbage. Like a times 10 multiplier seems like the bare minimum going from 2 to 20. Not from 2 to 3 that's only a 1.5 increase...

Fang Yuan may be able to gain that lighting rank 9 gu by upgrading that rank 8.5 gu secretly. Otherwise doesn't Star Constatation have access to rank 9 hate gu?
