It is a truly fantastic novel from beginning to end, it has such a satisfying ending that it couldn't be more perfect, I can't imagine a better one. PS: Do you have any good novels similar to this or any recommendations? I have read that Thriller Paradise and Devil's Cage are similar but I have taken a look at them and they do not convince me.
48 hours seemed to me one of the best novels I have read, in addition to the apathetic protagonist has a very important reason for the development of the novel. But the most outstanding thing for me was the places I went, the island, pirate, tokyo, the 2nd world war, the old west, rome, an alternate reality, a futuristic world, chernobyl, ancient Japan, a post-apocalyptic world, the lego. But it was one of my favorite novels. Don't you have a similar novel where the protagonist visits many places?
So with all we know there are 12 Kalendarias (or 13): -Sang Jianyao (Kalendaria?) -Qiao Chu (K?) -Erase Memory (K?) -Monk (Kingdom of hunger and reading minds?) (Subhuti / January if I remember correctly) But I think he converted to Monk just to avoid his price to pay. Like Sang Jianyao who does not believe in any Kalendaria but is awakened. -July (Double Sun) -Heart Attack / December (Fate Referee) -Horse / death in dreams (K? I guess the powers of the creatures also come from a Kalendaria as well as LTM) -HeartLess superior / Projection that scares (K?) -Child (Possible high sequence?) -Mandara / September -Du Heng / historian (saved all 4 by screaming?) -Power to become Heartless (does it exist?)
As I understand it, they mention it in a chapter but I don't remember it completely, but it was due to a possible abrupt climate change (Like the formation of that swamp with the snake they killed), the mutated creatures. There was an idealistic group that tried what you mentioned, gather many people and systematize everything as before, but I don't remember why they failed, for their ideals or for other reasons (I think they called themselves the army of salvation). In addition, all the knowledge is not complete, although a great power could have it, but if I remember correctly there are also shortages of people but they would not send LongY ... to a group that performs dangerous missions, instead of trained soldiers. There is no internet and it's only been like 60 years since everything started, maybe in the future it can be done but with 60 years and in a world of chaos people think about how to survive tomorrow and they don't think about harvesting something that takes months. Just look at the citizens of Moat Town, although their beginning was the most "ideal" for a place that was not reached by the catastrophe (other than a great power), they still have to go out to search the ruins because they need many things other than agriculture. When a gear is missing the machine can stop.
Then the awakened must pay a price for their powers.
Hands inmobility?
One of the best novels, it combines virtual reality with everyday life in a 'realistic' way, and there is that hint that the world is not as normal as it seems. It is one of the few novels in which if you read chapter by chapter while it is being translated you will not get bored, this work, for me, is at the level of Lord of the Mysteris. You enjoy both the virtual reality side and your daily life, and its power system for me is innovative although I must say that I have not read many video game novels; but for me the most rewarding part of the novel is when an MC learns new and complicated things. And finally the progress in the attitude of the MC is really nice, I feel that this author is at the level of the greats. PD: I use google translate, sorry.
