So far, this has been a rather good read, and I would recommend it highly. I think the reason why some readers might confuse the MC's actions towards his male friends as gay is that they're used to having children written as slightly less intelligent adults rather than actual children with a childish mindset. The author's depiction of the simplistic, childish mindset of the MC's companions was done particularly well, especially when compared to other fan fiction writers. If I had to point out one complaint, it would be the author's summary. I have noticed in the summary of a lot of authors that they say something along the lines of 'You just have to get past the first 15 chapters, and then the story really picks up' and that's an automatic turn-off. If you can't hold my attention enough for me to give it a chance within the first two or three chapters, it probably won't be worth my time anyway. When the summary contains something along the lines of people think the MC has certain inclinations, but he totally doesn't, it can make one a bit skeptical. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Anyway, I appreciate your writing and will be following your next releases with great anticipation.

[Written as of Chapter 76] I love the writing so far. Keep up the good work. My first impression after reading the synopsis was that this would probably be another trashy GOT fan fiction. Often with Jon Snow SI, you end up with either an over-the-top revenge j*rk off, or a whiny beta male that sticks to the canon plot line religiously. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this seems to have been written by one of the few authors who can write an OP character well. Instead of focusing on the MC being overpowered and face-slapping young masters and the like, it focuses mostly on kingdom building, and when it does come to fighting scenes, they are not artificially stretched out. When it comes to areas that can be improved as of now, I can only point out one very minor personal gripe, as well as one thing that could be improved. The very, very minor personal gripe would be the breaking of the 4th wall at the start of chapter 66. As for possible improvement, that would be adding just a little bit more detail on the political and military systems he is implementing and the reasoning behind them. However, it's better to just give vague outlines rather than going into detail in areas that you don't have a sufficient understanding of. I remember in one of my favorite Korean web novels, the translator had the MC using a fireplace to heat metal for forging. That broke immersion because you obviously can't get a fireplace hot enough to do real forging. Anyway, I love your writing and have nothing to truly complain about. Thank you for your hard work, and please keep it up.

I always thought it was funny how famous Blackbeard was with his two-year career and commanding a Fleet of a whopping 4 ships. Yet I rarely hear mention of Ching Shih who commanded a fleet of 600 ships and at her height had an estimated 17 to 18 hundred ships under her command, on top of that she died at the age of 69 having retired of piracy and started up a Gambling Hall.

Thanks for the chapter, I really appreciate your reliability. You said you'd be back in a week and you're back in the week. I feel like if you ever end up dropping the story you'll tell us unlike many authors who just say they're taking an indefinite break, and so you check-in for a few months but then you realize the story is dead and it’s not coming back. Overall I love your book, I love the release rate, I love the reliability. This is easily among the top 10 books I've read on this site probably among the top three. You do good work and again thanks for the chapter.

Just leave a note that the MC isn't going to be sexually abused, that was the worry that almost made me drop this great book.
