I’m thinking, is Bai Xue, Su Xue? Ik she supposey died but her death never made sense because I recall she made a deal with someone in the jail and there’s usually a foreshadowing. Gut feeling and years of reading storylines makes me feel this way.

I agree, I wish that there was a disclaimer in the synopsis that pointed that storyline and characters will differ from the original novel.

I had wanted to start this comic but after going through the first couple chapters, I really couldn’t continue. I just kept comparing to the novel and honestly, kept mentall criticizingy that it should be like this or that. If you read this alone without reading the novel, I’m sure it would be great! As someone who did, I just can’t help being loyal to the original storyline.

Absolutely a cute and entertaining novel! It’s a perfect happy novel cleanser after reading novels with too much drama, plots twist, and pretty much dragged out. Main character’s main traits was consistent from start to end.

I’m so annoyed with Chen Nian’s character. Is her only role trying to get Shen Yan a guy. left and right, it’a either Lu yu or Zhou ye she’ trying to push. Like is she trying to peer pressure or what, shen yan has made it loud and clear that she is currently not looking for a man. She just got divorced and Chen Nians only thought is that finding another man will make her feel better. Keep still if you have only that type of thinking, it’s just gonna make things worse. SMH

I think Anna shouldnt forgive him that easily. A conversation is needed for sure to clear the misunderstanding but she made a good point that she had tried to explain but Mike didnt give her a chance and said some very hurtful words. Great Novel, loved the development and romance between Huo Qinyao and Su Qingsing. I have to say that I recommend reading to just Chapter 647 as that is the end of the main story between both of them. After that is side stories with about Shi Mengwan and Zhan Haoze (I don't recommend reading, I was very frustrated reading their story that I had to stop reading), then a side story about Li Qianxue and Su Chenghui.

to tell the truth, I had to skip over the chapters as I couldn't bear to read the story between shi mengwan and zhan haoze. Regardless of the backstory, Father Shi is right. Shi Mengwan was a third party and I can't agree with it. And most of all, Zhan Haoze is a scum. I read the first few chapters of their side story and his overbearing ways just disgusted me. I don't think I can continue finishing the side story anymore.

I really don't understand these side femal characters. Like where is your dignity, that man is married. Worse yet is Huo Jinyao's mother like does she want her son to be a frivolous playboy.
