Synopsis

On the other side, there was also a pregnant lady, who had shown some obvious symptoms of possible miscarriage. She was staying in the hospital to prevent that from happening. Su Qingsang gave her a complete general check-up and told her about a few things to watch out for. Before Su Qingsang was done giving her advices, someone rushed in following a series of footsteps from outside the patient room.

The woman behind her named Li Rongrong acted as if she saw her savior. Her arms clasped around the man's.

"Lenan, I'm pregnant. I just got tested. Are you happy?"

"You're pregnant?" Wei Lenan stared at the woman in front of him with wide eyes. The look on his face showed that he seemed to be more in shock rather than pleasantly surprised.

"Yea," Li Rongrong replied and nodded her head furiously, her expression full of happiness. She turned her eyes in the direction of Su Qingsang and said, "That doctor over there just gave me a check-up, and it's already confirmed."

Su Qingsang felt a wave of coldness when she heard the whining voice, but she gave an indifferent smile and sneered at Wei Lenan.

The moment he saw Su Qingsang, Wei Lenan turned pale. He immediately tried to pull Li Rongrong's hands away, but Li Rongrong was grasping onto his hands like an octopus and had no intention of letting go.

"Lenan, you haven't answered me yet. I'm pregnant, aren't you happy?"

"Happy, I'm Happy." Lenan's face was stiff. He tried to pull Li Rongrong's hands away again.

Li Rongrong turned towards Su Qingsang and spoke with in an even whinier tone, "Doctor, my husband is here. Didn't you say that I needed to get my blood drawn? I can do it now." She turned back towards Wei Lenan and said, "Lenan, I was so scared when you weren't here. Now that you're here, I'm not scared anymore."

Wei Lenan stared at Su Qingsang. Once again, he tried to pull Li Rongrong's hands away. With pleads of mercy in his eyes, he said, "Qing…"

Su Qingsang sneered and turned her face towards the pregnant lady in the hospital bed and finished telling the patient about the check-up. She then came back to Li Rongrong's hospital bed and said, "Miss Li, I've prepared the documents already if you want to do the blood test now. You can have your husband take the documents to the front desk to pay the fees first, then go directly to the blood testing area on the third floor to get your blood drawn."

Only Wei Lenan had noticed that when Su Qingsang said the word "husband", her tone had gone up a little, and her face had a slight mocking expression to it as well. It was getting more awkward.

"Alright. Thank you, doctor." Li Rongrong smiled sweetly, but Su Qingsang wasn't in the mood to appreciate it. She just turned towards the door to leave the patient room. She gave Wei Lenan a cold look before she left.

Wei Lenan's lips trembled. He had wanted to speak up a few times but stopped in the midst of Li Rongrong's expression of happiness and bliss. He threw down the excuse of going to pay the fees and immediately went out after Su Qingsang. I like the story but I am waiting for more. In the first fifteen chapters, the identity of the ML is still not yet clear. But I can tell that he a savage person. i read till chapter 623.. but i feel that FL is stupid and keep on bringing harm to her ownself and also to those who are close and good to her. why she cant be smart for once.. not recommend to those who hate a weAK FL . i almost can predict her suffering more and endless hurt to her own mom, family members, friends, relatives, those who cares about her. is that what she wants. i dun think she will have happy ending with such stupid attitude.

Started good then it became really draggy. FC remains a coward for so many chapters and MC remains as mysterious for so many chapters. What’s more he didn’t even prepared her of his background and brought along troublesome female into FC life.

*sigh* "....." *speechless* You need a lot of patience to finish this story. They are sweet though, I admit. In my opinion, ML is very secretive about his identity (this is the selling part for this novel I guess, I mean those big revelation about character identity), pushy as hell and possesive. But at least he truly care about FL. Some might find it okay but for me it just very tiring, I'm not the FL but I can feel it. For the FL, I'm not quite sure if I can describe her as the strong and smart type (?). But the FL is just the classic type of FL that need to be save by the ML everytime she enconters a trouble... This based on what I read currently and the MC's description might change in future if there are some development. Happy Reading.

I liked this novel and made me get hooked in the first few chapters. i hope this will keep me hooked until the end. :) The start of the chapter shows great action between the Male lead and how he stood up for the Female Lead against the family of the FL. I wonder if he really take this marriage as a real one. Hmmmm...

The author is good at writing in terms of sentence structure, grammar, etc. But the story is full of plot holes, inconsistent story lines, and inconsistent characters. If you hate it when a character does something but after a few dozen chapters the author claims the character did the very opposite, you will hate this story. Seriously can’t even continue reading this story anymore

The ML is super manipulative and is sooo untrustworthy. I have no clue why the FL stayed with him. She’s in the wrong as well, but the fact that the ML seems kind and caring, but is manipulative and constantly lies to her rubs me the wrong way. This made me hella uncomfortable reading their interactions...
