Yea sure, this novel is cool. But, have you ever read the novel Fallen Monarch from the same auther? I did. And I did not skip the prologue. It still gives me nightmares.

You speak of great wisdom brother. Sadly the black sails arc was kinda whack, but it still had a lot of good parts. The only thing that really detracts from it is if you actually watched the TV show, which I think it was based on.

Besides the translation being off in some parts I really love this novel. The whole world theme is great and the feeling of deselation and loss after he completes it is worth its weight in gold. There are also some less then stellar segments but that might just be my western nationality talking, some parts just feel a bit off. Yet, regarldess it is really great and with some great music becomes a masterpeice. God bless. Also if anyone has any good world-hopping novels to recommend please do. I know that there are a lot on novelupdate but the majority are BL and those hurt my existance. All in all great novel with a bit lacking translation. Just hope that it doesn't get dropped like Mini Worlds of Endless Fun and Get Losts works. Please.

The start was quite entertaining but it seemed to lose its way later on. The concept was amazing and its execution in the begining was more then satisfactory, sadly it fell into the same trap as many cliche cultivation novels - young masters, dumbass old devils and so on- but I would still say that it is worth a read up until somewhere around chapter 300-400. Kind of sad that it didn't pan out so well in the end.
