My main criticism is that the author needs an editor. Besides that it's definitely one of the best original novels on this site. Nothing groundbreaking, but its a pleasure to read.

Overall this story is great, however it had a glaring, and often cringy weakness. The story often presents the mc as this monster or psychologically broken guy, but hes really not. the fact the story continually tells you this without actually showing it, comes off more as edgelord than anything. That paired with his relationship with men in the novel is just wierd. Not that there are many men in the story, the author overwhelmingly favors more women any chance he gets, and any man that does appear gets dead or disappears from the story for the vast majority of the time. While its not a harem, it certainly feels like the mc is walking in one.

I just realized the war god system is probably the earth/heaven sword.
