Maybe it's a mistranslation of daoist?
TLDR: "Way of The Devil" esque martial arts novel with a psychopathic protagonist. Don't read for story or characters. Read for action and edge. This is a novel about a guy who gets sent back in time as well as to a parallel universe where he is back in highschool again but this new universe has xuanhuan style martial arts and some other spoilerish things that won't be mentioned. The protagonist gets a "system" that lets him go into other worlds (currently only one) as a simulated life where he lives the life of a person in this world until he dies. Depending on his performance, he gets points that lets him bring back skills and abilities from that world to his modern martial arts world. If you've enjoyed Way of The Devil, Mystical Journey, Warlock of the Magus World, Carefree Path of Dreams, or Nightmare's Call then you'll probably enjoy this novel. The whole going back in time to another universe doesn't really contribute anything to the story as of 55 chapters in. There are no real characters and everyone including the protagonist are pretty generic which could change in time but as far as I've seen is unlikely since this doesn't seem to be a character or plot driven story which is fine by me but some people probably won't like it. If you like cunning psychopathic/sociopathic protagonists then you'll probably enjoy this novel because the protagonist goes from a supposedly normal highschool student to a Game of Thrones character within basically 1 chapter. It's not bad but it's not amazing either.
The most important part of wisdom path deductions comes from information which he just doesn't have. Heavenly Court and Longevity Heaven won't say that their venerables were at a disadvantage against FY. FY doesn't need to prove himself to ordinary rank eights and super forces while the pseudo venerables know better than to speak up against any Venerables so based on the only information going around, FY does look like the weakest.
I wonder if Genesis Lotus knows that Fang Yuan still has insiders in Emperor City. If not he is in for a surprise when the battle starts.
I can't help but appreciate the irony that the man Zhao Lian Yun blames for Ma Hong Yun's death is the reason that he now has a chance to revive.
There's going to be strong winds below the ocean too.
