Victoria was thinking about her reactions to Vincent and that made her wonder a great deal. What she was mostly thinking about was her mother's teachings even as she practiced her father's. Victoria's parents were bonded, and her mother was a peace keeper. Her father obviously a berserker. She was starting to heavily wonder if Vincent was like her father. Which Victoria did not understand if he was. Why he'd not said anything by now? Which then led her back to thinking about her parents. The only other berserker that he'd met who like him had not bonded with their first before her death had with his second. A bonded pair did not survive the death of their mate. He said that he recognized her effect on him, but that moment of true realization hadn't happened until after he'd been intimate with her. So that wasn't helpful starting out.
