lol the novel is quite vague and poorly thought out isn't it? it says that the virus transferred itself into the test object, which was a recording camera, so no AI core to even speak of.

err..... we have always been talking about this in the context of the novel.

yes sure, the future might have tech like that. but don't forget that the future also had just recently come out of an attack by an AI enemy. do you really think they would haven't had physical fail safes in their main AI, the AI that the virus was hiding in? like making the AI core entirely dependent on the scientists for power. Especially since the virus itself was the former Main AI. they would then be very suspicious of this Main AI too. though as a side note, even if soil could be used for energy, that seems particularly cumbersome and inefficient, and besides, what will the AI do after all the soil there has gone out?

lol in the sentinel island? a tropical place where there is no power supply and no proper way for it to even cool down? yeah not going to happen.

you only explained the ISP internet connection. and I cant tell whether that is correct or not because I dont know much about it. all the other things, about how it can't actually run on the computers, and the power supple and the actual location of the AI, all of these you just told me to assume it works. if that is how this is then I will just tell you to assume that even the Isp wont work.

I said "even if we negate" as a response to your request to assume that the previous problems were solved. i didn't add that as a main point, just as an after thought. I wasn't really telling you to neglect that

go back and look at the replies. you were the one who first asked me to neglect the power supply concerns and all the other concern about it not even being able to work in the first place. and then you latched on to the one point that makes it seem like the AI will work when in reality you had to not think off all the other factors that will make it impossible for the AI to even work.

look back man, you were the one who said to assume it first. i told you that would just mean the whole thing would work on only assumptions and you said to just go with th assumptions and I gave you reasons as to why even assuming would not make it work.
