yeah maybe? cause I've noticed this on a couple other novels on this site but, MTL are still consistent. like if something is translated as one term the word in the original language would still be translated as that one term 9 times out of 10 times, ignoring weird edge cases were it might be used in a compound word or whatever. but that's mostly because of how MTL works it's very much word for word. But here words and terms change at a drop of a hat one chapter it is immortal venerable the next it's supreme eternal or whatever. sometimes it changes the translation in the very next paragraph. which altogether leads me to believe that Webnovel most likely has an inhouse LLM translator of some kind. one because of the inconsistency and two because MTL is complete word spaghetti and this isn't word spaghetti. idk though they might be MTLing and then filtering it through an LLM. at any rate a very much doubt a human being is legitimately proofreading or editing these.

idk immortality has quite a bit luxuries tied to it. many things come to mind but for some reason and I can't help thinking about the money I could save not having to spend money on food, probably a wasteful use of immortaly tbh.

and mess up basic spelling because I'm typing on my phone out of anger but whatever.

honestly the story is really good and one of my favorites but after around chapter 2500 the translation quality dips faster than an asteroid falling to earth at terminal velocity. overall you can till follow what's going on but there's absolutely no consistency between names, titles or recurring concepts. Translate cant even seem to figure out if the protagonist sage title should be tyrant song, dominance song or ba song, literally the thing that should have no fluctuation whatsoever. again it's still readable but it hurts the enjoyability of the novel immensely. I've started feeling like I was reading AI translated garbage half the time. honestly having read the entire MTL version before long ago and was waiting for the translated version to catch up a bit more I can't help feeling like it's just better to stop at the 2500 mark and read the MTL because at least the MTL can make up its mind more often than this garbage. the only saving grace is that this is slightly more legible but that's not exactly a high bar to pass when even a monkey on a type writer could do better.

it's almost like some one once said an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. . . theres no way that's true thou. just murder all opposition, don't promote change, promote new ideas, or just have empathy in general for people. I'm sure that will work out great.

for the record you have four options to pick from "... is cultivation this easy?" "... cultivation is this easy?" "... was cultivation this easy?" "... cultivation was this easy?" all of them mean something slightly different but, considering the title you probably want to go with the last one.
