Does anybody remembers those MTA pilots, seems like more than year has passed since Ves promised some sort-of machine that would make them into expert candidates.
Orfan is treating her mech like it was some exobeast. Her desire to dominate and control her mech had backfired now because she never had a responsive mech. So honestly, Ves has less responsibility than Glorianna thinks.
I believe that it was mentioned in earlier chapters that one of the possible reasons as to why their head keeps blowing up is because they fail to direct that sort of energy into something. Mech designers have their philosophy to create a crystallization of their path, mech pilots have their mechs to pour that energy and their force of will that is produced from their desires.
You're overthinking it. And even if the MTA somehow knew that specific mech was his they wouldn't bring it up as it serves no point no that they understand how OP MC is.
There's also that to consider, her sexist view towards men and Hexer superiority is so deeply ingrained in her, it needs to be torn apart if she ever intends to go beyond the boundary of normalcy. One good dose of reality, and she'll go down like a tower of Jenga. Ves managed to do it because he's less morally inclined but is nonetheless aware of the risk he takes in becoming something like the Skull Architect..
Perfection in itself is not a dead-end, the problem is that she has been consumed with the need to create mechs that have no "imperfections". Perfection is an ideal state that will always be out of reach. Not knowing the difference between excellence and efficiency will cost her a shell-shocking experience in the future to fix. Hopefully... but I'm not particularly certain of this because the author isn't all that great at creating human-like development in his characters. Honestly, this novel just has awful people that you can't find relatable at all, there's also the constant sombreness with no humor in this novel that makes it painful to read at times. Everthing else is great.
Gloriana is destined to fail just because of her design philosophy. Ves is an innovator while Gloriana is a honer. Everything she can and will do will always be dependent on Ves's innovative design philosophy. The moment she decided to allow his design philosophy to be a dependent component to her philosophy was the critical moment she lost a lot of the ability to even flourish many of her possible abilities. If Ves ever decides to leave her, she is absolutely f*#ked...
I don't think that's how it works, she's only connected to the holy mother through a spiritual fragment that has already been absorbed/assimilated during the creation process. Holy mother is more like that of a child to Ves's mom than a secondary vessel for her form. Thus they're separate but related entities.
Does anybody want some fruit punch?
Lmao, I always had the image of a raving spiting old man. Didn't know he was a young man.
